Rockin' the pool with the Castaways!




About 300 people came to the outdoor pool to enjoy an evening swim and a fun concert with the classic rock of The Castaways!  Thanks goes to the pool staff for their extra work, it was a fun evening!

We're in for fun at the OUTDOOR POOL with the Castaways!

Their fast-paced and versatile songs range from pop and album artists, classic rock, mood-setting ballads and the best of 50’s and 60’s favorites including their 1965 hit song “Liar, Liar”


Includes FREE admission to the pool from 6-8.
Please note- Booker will not be at this BOOKS & STARS!
Water and books don't mix well and there isn't a good place to park a LARGE vehicle!

We had some laughs this week! Books & Stars at Way Park!

So glad there was a Thomas book to check out from Booker!

Folks from BIKE NORTHFIELD will be on hand at all the rest of the BOOKS & STARS to
promote biking and bike safety in Northfield!  They will also give your bike a quick tune up!

July 2's Books & Stars is at Bridge Square with the Music of Fort Snelling!

We're teaming up with the Northfield Historical Society to bring you a musical history lesson!  Should be very fun and appropriate yo get you in the mood for the celebration of July 4th!

Booker opens at 6:30.
The show begins at 7 pm.  Bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.

In case of inclement weather we will move to Oddfellows Park Pavilion on Forest Ave. near Three Links Care Center.  
The show always goes on!

What a great show!


Much thanks for the fun, interactive and lively interpretation of William Shakespeare's  "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by the Minnesota SkyVault Theatre Company from Rochester, MN

BOOKS & STARS moves to ODDFELLOWS PAVILION tonight!
The city is under a flood emergency and Way Park is too wet to move the showmobile around on and city streets & parks staff are busy sandbagging so—we move to a dryer place tonight. Booker opens at 6:30.
Join us for a unique encounter with the bard! This evening will include a minstrel wagon, upbeat music, audience interaction and it all begins at 7!   Concessions tonight!! Shakespeare in the Park!

Oddfellows Park is by the 3 Links Care Center on Forest Ave.
