2013 What a super season of Books & Stars!

Thanks for attending this summer's Books & Stars!  Some people made it to all the show, some just a few.  The weather started out a bit iffy and we had to move Justin Roberts to Oddfellow's Park Pavilion but all the rest worked out at their original places!  And for the first time in 3 years our planned show at the outdoor pool worked and it was a lovely and HOT evening.  We tried something new with the first ever Northfield talent show!
Over 1,300 people enjoyed the music and fun!

Big thanks to Northfield Schools-Community Services Intern Ellen Windschitl, Community Services Youth Activities Coordinator Melissa Bernhard, the guys from the Northfield Street Dept. for setting up the showmobile, Booker drivers Teri Anderson and Becky Clossen. Allison Watkins and her crew at the outdoor pool. The volunteer library pages who help at all the summer library programs! Plus the library staff who fields all the questions on rainy or turbulent weather days!  It does take a
big team to get this program out to Northfield residents!
BIG thanks to the Friends & Foundation of the library for sponsoring Justin Robert's appearance!
BIG thanks to the Myrtle Houston Children's Programming Fund for sponsoring the Okee Dokee Brothers!
The rest of the shows were made possible by a
